Atelier Ortega Novias
5-week atelier waitlist after rebuilding Instagram and Google presence
Where they started
Daniela Ortega has been making couture wedding gowns by hand for sixteen years. Local Guadalajara brides found her by reputation. But the clients she really wanted — the CDMX and Monterrey brides who fly in for fittings, who have larger budgets and bring referral chains — were never finding her at all. Her Instagram was beautiful but algorithmically invisible: low engagement, no calls-to-action, no link strategy. Her website was a portfolio Squarespace with no booking flow.
What we built and ran
- 1Rebuilt the website around the lookbook and the atelier visit experience, with a "reservar cita" booking flow
- 2Restructured Instagram: pillar content (atelier days, fittings, finished gowns), Reels strategy, weekly story rotation
- 3Ran lookbook Meta ads in Spanish targeting engaged brides in CDMX, Monterrey, and Querétaro
- 4Built a "couture vs. confección" content series that addressed the actual decision Mexican brides are making
- 5Set up a deposit flow that respected the multi-month timeline of a hand-made gown
How it unfolded
"They redid our Instagram strategy and launched lookbook ads in Spanish. Our atelier visits are now booked five weeks out — most brides say they found us on Google before Instagram, which we never used to rank on at all."
